Rachel Gibson (9-26-19)

Rachel A. Gibson, 82, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Sept. 26.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Morris Guy and Annabelle Harker. She was united in marriage to Steven Caldwell Gibson, who preceded her in death.
In her lifetime, Mrs. Gibson lived in Ohio, Michigan, Florida, and North Carolina, before settling in Tennessee. While living up north, she was a member of the Moose Club.
Rachel is survived by her daughter, Rachelle Monaco of Savannah; sons, Randy Smith of Chattanooga and Guy Gibson of Sanford, North Carolina; sisters, Barbara Jamison and Karlene Chance; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert Guy and Morris Guy.
