Linda Nichols (9-28-19)

Linda Gale Anderson Nichols, 71, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Sept. 28.
She was born in Sevier County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Frank and Lois Rogers Anderson. She was united in marriage to Kent Nichols, who survives.
Mrs. Nichols had lived in Selmer, Savannah and Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to her husband, Kent Nichols of Savannah, she is survived by her son, Steve Simpson of Marshville, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James “JR” Simpson; a stepdaughter, Julie Nichols; and a grandson.
