Bobby Bray Jr. (9-24-19) service 9-28-19

Robert “Bobby” Bray Jr., 73, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Savannah.
He was born in Waynesboro, the son of the late Robert Riley Bray Sr. and Frankie Bryant Bray. He was united in marriage to Nancy Lack, who survives.
Mr. Bray served his country in the United States Navy. He was a long haul truck driver for various trucking companies before retiring after 24 years with Milan Express. He was the past president of Hardin County Cancer Society and helped organize the Bike-A-Thon to raise money. While his daughter, Amanda was attending Walker Elementary, he was president of the PTO.  He was greeter and usher at Amazing Life Church and usher at Christian Life Center. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Shop Church.
In addition to his wife, Nancy Bray of Savannah, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda Bray  of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Mike Bray of Columbia, Tennessee; and sister, Tracey Scruggs of Gaffney, South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Bray; sister, Betty Bray Wooddell; and brothers, Ronnie Bray and Anthony Bray.
Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Keith Holloway, Steve Nielsen and Tommy Grisham officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
