Flora Welch (9-21-19)

Flora Welch, 75, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Sept. 21.

She was born in Minnesota, the daughter of the late Pete and Selma Mae Peters. She was united in marriage to Earnest Thomas Welch Sr., who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Welch retired from the Tennessean Truck Stop where she was employed as a cook.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Welch Jr. of Parsons, Tennessee; stepchildren, Judy Garcia of Modesto, California, John Welch of Spring, Texas, Trudy Rich of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Cheryl Martinez of Santa Fe, New Mexico; brother, Charles Kreps of Stockton, California; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Jean Bundy; and brothers, Norbert Kreps and Clarence Kreps.
