Clark Burkhart (9-15-19) service 9-21-19

Clark Burkhart, of Savannah, was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on Oct. 17, 1938, the son of the late Otis and Alifair Taylor Burkhart.
Clark worked for more than 40 years as a machinist at Block Steel.  He was a former resident of Kentucky and Chicago, Illinois.  Clark was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his farm and spending time with his family.
On July 11, 1959, he was united in marriage to Loraine Duff, who survives.
Clark departed this life on Sunday, Sept. 15, in Nashville, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 29 days.
In addition to his wife of 60 years, Loraine, he is survived by his children, Clark “Woody” Burkhart and his wife Roberta, Gary Burkhart and his wife Linda, Randall Burkhart, Lisa Taylor and her husband Richard and Patrick Burkhart and his wife Ashley; 29 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Orville Burkhart and his wife Bernice.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Otis Burkhart; one sister, Opel Burkhart Burke; and four brothers, Earl, William, George and Benny Burkhart.
Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m., at Walnut Grove Church of Christ in Savannah with David Dowdy officiating. Burial followed in Hollands Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
