Lorraine Rodgers (9-4-19) service 9-8-19

Lorraine Killingsworth Rodgers, 97, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Hardin Medical Center.
She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Andrew Dee Killingsworth and Martha Thacker Killingsworth.
Mrs. Rodgers served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1943 through 1945. She was a retired seamstress and homemaker and attended Lebanon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn DiRenzo-Cruz of Atlantic City, New Jersey and Janette DiRenzo of Savannah; two sons, Frank Rodgers of Columbia, Tennessee and Tony Rodgers of Middleton, Tennessee; and sister, Shirley Schmiderer of St. Louis, Missouri. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. DiRenzo. She was later united in marriage to Millard Rodgers who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by five brothers; and three sisters.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hardin Medical Center Activity Department, 935 Wayne Road, Savannah, Tenn. 38372.
Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Jason Martindale officiating. Burial followed in Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.
