Diane Webb (9-3-19) service 9-22-19

Diane Zarle Webb, of Savannah, departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the age of 75 years and 10 months.
She was born in Akron, Ohio on Nov. 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Wallace Zarle and Mildred. On Nov. 3, 1988, she was united in marriage to Charles “John” Webb, who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 2010.
Diane loved her numerous nieces and nephews that she helped to raise. She was known as the “Ice Cream Lady” at the Crump Flea Market, where she operated a concession stand for many years. She had also owned and operated D&J Barbecue in Waynesboro. She had previously worked as a respiratory therapist at Lewis County Hospital in Hohenwald. Diane enjoyed traveling the country in her earlier years with her carnival family.
She is survived by her brothers, Patrick Zarle and his wife Anne, and Michael Zarle and his wife Sheila; nieces, Dawn Morton, Kelly Armstrong, Kim Carroll, Patty Martin, Pamela Caughlin, Beth Jeter and Janie Milender; nephews, Mark Zarle, Jacob Zarle, Jeff Zarle, Matthew Zarle and Johnny Milender; great-niece, LeAnn Gordon; and great-nephew, Justin Hanna.
In addition to her parents and husband, Diane was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert “Herb” Zarle; and her stepmother, Rosemary Zarle.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 3 p.m., at Mollie Monday’s Restaurant in Savannah. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.
