Arthur McCormick (8-26-19) service 8-30-19

Arthur V. McCormick, 77, of Savannah, died on Monday, Aug. 26, at his residence.
Service was Friday, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m., at Crossroads Union Church in Savannah with Timmy Keen officiating.Interment at Crossroads Union Church Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 17, 1942. Mr. McCormick retired in the maintenance department at Clayton Homes in Savannah with 24 years of service. He was of non-denominational faith and was a member of Crossroads Union Church.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years,  Juanita M. Dickey McCormick of Savannah; daughters, Betty S. McCormick Franks (David) of Savannah and  Nora J. McCormick Melson (Richard) of Olive Hill; 10 grandchildren,  Daniel Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Amber Melson (Michael), Chevy Melson (Bethany), Trystan Counts, Ariel Melson, Zion Franks, Zeke Franks, Cora Franks and Jennifer Melson; eight great-grandchildren, Joshua Murphy, A.J. Murphy, Curtis, Tessa and Colt Matlock, C.J., Lacie and Waylon Melson; brothers, Larry McCormick of Prosperity, South Carolina, Donald McCormick (Nancy) of Colliersville, West Virginia, and Douglas McCormick (Brenda) of Michigan City, Indiana; sisters, Sally Richardson of Michigan City, Indiana, Mary A. Baumer (John) of Laporte, Indiana and Gail Kolasa (Ronnie) of Sardis; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Chevy Melson, Zion Franks, Zeke Franks, Daniel Murphy, Mike Melson and Richard Dickey
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent A. McCormick; mother, Mary Jane Moffit McCormick; daughter, Brigette Murphy Cossey; sisters, Bonnie Kolasa, Betty Brown, Ruth Underwood, Donna Sutton, Linda Stitchcomb and Debbie Duggan.
