Joseph “Buster” Boyd (8-12-19) service 8-15-19

Joseph “Buster” Boyd, 64, of Savannah, died on Monday, Aug. 12.
He was born in Pineville, West Virginia, the son of the late Wilma Jean Boyd and Oscar Joe Green. He was united in marriage to Sharon Hutcherson, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Boyd served his country honorably for 25 years. He began his service in the United States Marine Corps and finished in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his children, Anthony “Hutch” Hutcherson of Savannah, James Miller of Chicago, Illinois, Patrick Miller of Chicago, Illinois, Chad Boyd of Savannah, Phillip Boyd of Selmer and Kelli Boyd of Chicago, Illinois; and nine grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Becky Newman and Kay Molter.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Aug. 15, at Dry Hill Cemetery in Halls, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating.
