Dean Bullington (8-18-19) service 8-22-19

Dean Meril Bullington, 84, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Aug. 18, in Savannah.
He was born in Caruthersville, Missouri, the son of the late Jewel Brown and Cecil Juanita Clark Bullington. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Ellen Shelby, who survives.
Mr. Bullington was an electrician, working for Anheiser-Busch in St. Louis, Missouri for 19 years. Previously, he worked for Emerson Electric for 10 years, National Vendors for 9 years, and also worked on his uncle’s farm for four years, and for Brown Shoe Company for five years.
He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ, and a member of Savannah Masonic Lodge, Hardin County Red Cross-Savannah Chapter, a chairman of the Red Cross Blood Drive-Hardin County, and a RSVP-Board Member.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Ellen Shelby Bullington of Savannah; three daughters, Debbie Austin of St. Louis, Missouri, Deanna Bullington of Savannah and Angie Hatch of Savannah; three sons, George Bullington of Savannah, James Bullington of Savannah, Deron Bullington of St. Peters, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Pratt and Shirley Cox; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Savannah Church of Christ, 1175 Pickwick Rd, Savannah, Tenn. 38372.
Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Howard Rogers, Dustin Perkins and Misty Schutzins officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery at Savannah.
