David Droke (7-17-19) service 7-20-19

David Droke, 67, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, July 17.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Troy and Cornelia Hall Droke. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Lynn Stewart, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Droke retired from Hardin Medical Center where he was a respiratory therapist assistant. He was a member of New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelly Droke of Savannah; son, Jim Droke of Medina, Tennessee; four grandchildren; sisters, Reva Prince of Madison, Tennessee and Francis Foster of Marion, Arkansas; and brothers, Buddy Droke of Weatherford, Texas and Willie Barnett of Memphis.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary Louise Droke; and brothers, Howard Droke and Bobby Droke.
Services were held on Saturday, July 20, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Tony Polk and Carl Copeland officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
