Barbara Shubert (6-26-19) service 6-30-19

Barbara Ann Franks Shubert, of Savannah, departed this life on Wednesday, June 26, at the age of 66 years and 8 months.
She was born in Hardin County on Oct. 26, 1952, the daughter of the late Carl and Annie Wilkerson Franks.
Barbara was employed for several years with Engineered Plastics in Counce. She enjoyed storm watching, sewing, quilting, working puzzles, and in her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses. Barbara loved her grandchildren and Mountain Dew.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie Teague of Savannah; grandchildren, Kayla Farley and her husband Scott, Amanda Shubert, and Daniel Shubert; great-grandchildren, Chandler Tuberville, Bentley Tuberville, William Farley, Hannah Farley and McKenzie Farley; and brothers, Bill Franks of Adamsville and Joe Lee Franks of Mishawaka, Indiana.
Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Joe “Red” Shubert; son, Ernest Joe “Jabo” Shubert; granddaughter, Courtney Mancell; and brothers, Tommy Jack Franks, Odie Franks and Bobby Gene Franks.
Services were held on Sunday, June 30, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Larry Paul Rich officiating. Burial followed in Mount Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
