Tennessee Street Park celebrates 5th anniversary on June 1

Tennessee Street Park in Savannah is filled with the laughter of children most days of the year.
Whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter, people come together to celebrate significant accomplishments, walk or run off energy, or enjoy just being together in the beautiful setting.
The city park celebrates its fifth anniversary all day on Saturday, June 1.
“There will be free food and drinks, music, inflatables and free T-shirts to the first 200 in attendance,” said Larry Arendall, Savannah Parks and Recreation Department director. “I encourage citizens to come out and visit the park and help support tourism.”
