Reva Melton (5-6-19) service 5-8-19

Reva Melton, 88, of Savannah, died on Monday, May 6.
She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Alfred Dewey and Lela Elizabeth Rouse Frye. She was united in marriage to Raymond Harold Melton, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Melton was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah. She was the first person hired at Tri-County Convalescent Home in McNairy County in 1972, and retired three different times before officially retiring at 75 years old.
She is survived by her son, Rickey Melton of Savannah; daughters, Diane McGee of Crump and Vickey King of Stantonville; sisters, Linda Faulkner of Finger and Mary Godwin of Memphis; brothers, Bill Frye of Finger and Wilbur Frye of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse Raymond, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnie Frye, Frances Wilson, Edith Dallas and Estelle Russell.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 8, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Allen Guyer officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Vinson Cemetery at Stantonville.
