Alice Prater (4-29-19)

A private burial for Alice Prater, 79, was held at Corinth National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 1.
Alice died on Monday, April 29, at Diversacare Assisted Living in Eupora, Mississippi.
She was born on March 5, 1940, in Wiesbaden, Germany.
She was a member of Church of Christ and was a Magnolia Hospital Auxiliary or better known as the Pink Ladies for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Majors (Donnie) of Waterloo, Alabama; step-son, Tom Prater (Val) of Petaluma, California; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Heinrich Herchenroeder and Frieda Solzbach; her husband, James C. Prater; and a brother, Heinz Herchenroeder.
