Edith Scott (4-28-19) service 5-3-19

Edith M. Stricklin Scott, 80, of Savannah, died on Sunday, April 28, in Florence, Alabama.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ora Williams Stricklin. She was united in marriage to Elvin Ray Scott, who survives.
Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and attended White’s Creek Church.  She worked for 10 years as a nurses aide at Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation.
In addition to her husband Elvin of Savannah, she is survived by one sister, Dorothy Toney of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; brothers, Earl Stricklin of Savannah, Loyd C. Stricklin of Savannah, Boyd Stricklin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Gloyd Stricklin of Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Elveeta Stricklin.
Services were held on Friday, May 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah in Savannah with Charles Linam and Jimmy McGee officiating. Burial followed in White’s Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
