Kate Pickens (4-18-19) service 4-23-19

Kate Erwin Pickens, 93, of Crump, died on Thursday, April 18, in Savannah.
She was born in Wrights, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Ernest and Mysia Anna Taylor Erwin. She was united in marriage to Robert Earl Pickens, who survives.
Mrs. Pickens retired from Brown Shoe Company. She also had worked for Harwood Manufacturing and at the Hardin County Schools in the cafeteria at West Hardin Elementary.   She was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Robert of Crump, she is survived by her son, Ricky Erwin Cromwell; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ronald Erwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Cromwell; a baby daughter; one grandson; three sisters, Dean Butler, Bell Reynolds and Mary Evans; and two brothers, Cull Erwin and Fred Erwin.
Services were held on Tuesday, April 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mike Moore officiating. Burial followed in Ledbetter Cemetery at Adamsville.
