Jim Boggan (4-18-19) service 4-22-19

Jim Boggan, 83, of Selmer, died on Thursday, April 18, in Corinth, Mississippi.
He was born in Bath Springs, Tennessee, the son of the late Newton Jehu and Hazel Mildred Akin Boggan. He was united in marriage to Dorine Coln, who survives.
Mr. Boggan was a pulp mill foreman for PCA in Counce for 46 years.  He was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church in the Eastview Community.
He is survived by his wife  Dorine Boggan of Selmer; two daughters, Carol Reynolds of Huntsville, Alabama, Janet Pierce of Selmer; a son, David Boggan of Memphis; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Boggan Hamilton.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
Services were held on Monday, April 22, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Eric Jones officiating. Burial followed in Gravel Hill Cemetery at Eastview.
