Two pedestrians hit by vehicle in Crump, killing one

Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Crump, killing one, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said.
Jacob L. Pinter, 32, of Carthage, Mississippi, died and Lucas M. McClain, 27, of Selmer, was injured. McClain was last known to be in stable condition at the Med in Memphis, the THP said Wednesday.
According to the preliminary crash report, Kirk L. McCallister-Jones, 23, of Morris Chapel, was driving a 2008 Nissan Rogue west on U.S. 64 when Pinter and McClain entered his path and were struck in the roadway.
McCallister-Jones was not injured and no charges were filed. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. near the Valero gas and convenience store.

    Jacob is been a good friend ever seen I meet him it kill me think he his gown !! Plzz see out prayer to his family and friend R.I.P I hope nobody ever has to Go throw this.

    Jake was my best friend I’m sad to find out he’s gone and I’ll never get to talk to him again he was a good person
