Ricky “Bo” Petty (4-4-19) service 4-12-19

Ricky L. “Bo” Petty, 60, of Savannah, died on Thursday, April 4, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Tom Petty and Hester Tidwell Steakley. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Calhoun, who survives.
Mr. Petty was the owner and operator of Petty Auto Salvage.  He had also worked for JB Smith Logging Company.
In addition to his wife, Mary Petty of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Christopher Lynn Petty of Savannah, Tuesday Smith of Savannah, Nicholas Petty of Illinois, Destiny Beavers of Savannah and Eric Beavers of Savannah; five grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Petty and Hester Tidwell Steakley; and numerous brothers and sisters.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12, at Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Savannah with Jerry Milliken officiating.
