TBI: Wife successfully conspired with man to kill her husband

Arrest warrants filed in Hardin County General Sessions Court show Christopher Mailhot and Elaina White are charged in Wednesday’s early morning murder of Jeffrey White in Savannah.

Authorities at the scene of Wednesday’s fatal shooting on Youngs Lane in Savannah.

Mailhot, 21, of Iuka, Mississippi, is charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
White, 38, of Savannah, who was married to Jeffrey White, is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit first degree murder and criminal responsibility for first degree murder.
According to affidavits, “Christopher Mailhot did admit to TBI Agents Brent Booth and Cathy Ferguson that he did shoot Jeffrey Steven White in the back and back of his head” at White’s residence on Youngs Lane.
The affidavits say Jeffrey White, 50, was found dead yesterday from apparent gunshot wounds to his back and to the back of the head by Savannah police officers.
Mailhot also allegedly conspired with Elaina White to kill her husband, which Booth says was confirmed by text messages between the two found on Mailhot’s phone.
The affidavits state that Elaina White, “acting with the intent to promote or assist in the murder of her husband or to benefit from the proceeds or results of the offense, did solicit, direct or aid Christopher Mailhot to kill Jeffrey Steven White.”
The two were arrested the day of the incident.
As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, no bail had been set for either, and they are being held at the Hardin County jail.

Execution should be done tomorrow, because they have admitted to the crime.
The world will better without them.
