Mark Burd (3-15-19)

Mark Earl Burd, 65, of Saltillo, died on Friday, March 15, in Savannah.
He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of the late Edward Russell and Mary Jane Moore Burd. He was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Kimbel, who survives.
Mr. Burd was a longtime resident of Detroit, Michigan, where he was a foster parent. He retired after 32 years from Ford Motor Company. He moved to Saltillo where he was a volunteer for the Saltillo Fire Department.
In addition to his wife, Sandra Burd of Saltillo, he is survived by his children, Mark Scott Burd of Wayne, Michigan, Keith Russell Burd of Fremont, Michigan, Daniel Wayne Burd of Westland, Michigan, Martin Burd of Detroit, Michigan, Joshua Burd of Saltillo, Briana Burd of Fremont, Michigan, Joseph Burd of Chattanooga, Alexis Burd of Savannah and Katrice Burd of Saltillo; brothers, Allan Burd of Walled Lake, Michigan and Matthew Burd of St. Meyers, Florida; and eight grandchildren.
