Gloria Cole (3-2-19) service 3-5-19

Gloria Rebecca Cole, of Savannah, departed this life on Saturday, March 2, at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 8 days.
She was born in Hardin County on April 22, 1959, the daughter of the late James Ruben Umphrey and Rosie Nell Dickey Umphrey.  On June 29, 1996, she was united in marriage to Roger Don Cole, who survives.
Gloria was a member of Crossroads Union Church.  She was a cosmetologist  for 32 years and owned her own business.  She enjoyed traveling to the beach and shopping. She was kind to everyone she met. She loved her husband, daughters, and grandchildren very much.  And she loved her little dog, Cheyenne.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Roger of Savannah; her children, Misti Bradford of Nashville, Miranda and her husband Derrick Hunt, Morgan and her husband Chad Brown, all of Savannah; grandchildren, Hayleigh Pigg, Cedric Pigg, Annie Hunt, Jocelyn Stricklin, Tyler Stricklin and Ryan Brown.
She also has a stepdaughter, Susan Lea Corbell and her husband Cody; and a stepgranddaughter, Brittany Hermeda and her husband Chris, all of Tampa, Florida.
Gloria is survived by her brothers, Coley Umphrey and his wife Mildred, Jeff Umphrey and sister, Jennifer Fielder and her husband Jeremy, all of Savannah; four nephews, Jake Umphrey, Jeffrey Umphrey, Jamie Fielder and Jason Fielder; and a niece, Jacey Fielder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Neal Umphrey; and her sister, Nancy Gail Umphrey.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 5, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Timmy Keen officiating. Burial followed in Crossroads Cemetery at Savannah.
