Hardin County Schools dismissing early on Feb. 20

Hardin County Director of Schools Michael Davis announced this morning that all schools will be dismissing at 1 p.m. today, Feb. 20.
“With the expected road conditions and possibility of flash-flooding in some area, we’re dismissing early as a safety precaution, so that all buses can complete their routes in daylight,” Davis said.
He added that all students will be served lunch at school before being dismissed, and lunch schedules are being rearranged to ensure all children will have the opportunity to eat lunch before leaving school.

THANK YOU for dismissing school early. I’ve been on pins and needles all day! I believe this is a wise decision .
