Jane Tate (1-7-19) service 1-10-19

Jane Townsend Tate, 82, of Adamsville, died on Monday, Jan. 7, in Atlanta, Georgia.
She is the daughter of the late Berlie Curtis and Cecil Townsend.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Wallace Powers of Adamsville; daughter, Kayren Jane Samoly of Sharpsburg, Georgia; stepsons, Barry Tate and Brian Tate; stepdaughter, Deena Conner; sister, Lucille Slais; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Powers and, later, her husband, Thomas Tate; two brothers, Byron and Eugene Townsend; and one sister, Estelle Pratt.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Parsons First Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Pilgrim officiating. Burial was at Crowell Chapel Cemetery.
