Lochie Brashier (1-13-19) service 1-16-19
Lochie Pevahouse Brashier, 97, of Clifton, died on Sunday, January 13.
She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Chesley and Mary Ada Warren Pevahouse. She was united in marriage to Charles Raymond Brashier, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Brashier had worked for Brown Shoe Company and was a flea market vendor. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Clifton.
She is survived by her six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and a brother, WC Pevahouse of Savannah.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Raymond Douglas Brashier and Wanda Lee Brashier Swope; one grandchild; brothers, Forrest Pevahouse, Brown Pevahouse and Milburn Pevahouse; and sisters, Hester Turnbo and Carrie Cleo Pevahouse.
Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Melinda Lee officiating. Burial followed in Clifton Cemetery.
