Bruce “Hooty” Owle (1-6-19)

Bruce Kevin Owle, better known as “Hooty,” was born on Aug. 7, 1961, in Britol, Pennsylvania, and died peacefully at the age of 57, on Jan. 6, in Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Mae Freshour Owle; his parents, Evelyn Elizabeth Hilborne Owle and John Henry Owle; and his brother, John Henry Owle Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Wynn and Brian Owle; his daughter, Melissa Ann Harvin; his son, Bruce Harley Fowler; and his stepdaughter, Amber Austin and her husband Dwayne Austin. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Torrance Harvin Jr., Kylan Harvin, Tyler Harvin, Zoey Harvin, Khloe Fowler, Braelyn Fowler, Paul Sherwood, Madisyn Sherwood, Breanna Austin, Samantha Austin and Anthoney Austin and a host of extended family members and friends.
Bruce spent a large amount of his life in Vero Beach, Florida. Bruce “Hooty” Owle was a free spirit. He worked as a roofer who enjoyed working on and riding Harleys and spending time with friends and family.
