Eddie Ganus (12-28-18) service 1-2-19

Eddie Ganus, of Crump, was born on Jan. 24, 1958, in Savannah, the son of Dorothy L. Browder Ganus and the late Bobby Charles Ganus.
Mr. Ganus served his country honorably in the United States Army. After his time in the Army, Eddie worked at various restaurants as a cook. He was a wonderful cook and enjoyed his time in the restaurants. Eddie also enjoyed fishing and spending time visiting with friends and family.
Eddie Ganus departed this life on Friday, Dec. 28, in Savannah, at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 4 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Ganus of Tupelo, Mississippi; mother, Dorothy Ganus of Michie; siblings, Kenny Ganus of Sherwood, Arkansas, Kathy Harrison of Michie and Steve Ganus of Benton, Arkansas; granddaughter, Bella Ganus; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kay White; brother, Denny “Doc” Ganus; nephews, Ken Ganus II and Kaleb Brown; and all grandparents.
Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with W.D. McCollum officiating. Burial followed in Crump Cemetery.
