Reta Scott (12-22-18) service 12-26-18

Reta Mae Boleyn Scott, 90, of Adamsville, died on Saturday, Dec. 22, in Selmer.
She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Brodie Travis and Eunia Leora Deatheridge Boleyn. She was united in marriage to Willard Lee “Jack” Scott who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Reta retired from Brown Shoe Company in Savannah with 35 years of service. She was a member of Love & Truth Church, Adamsville Campus, where she had been a care team leader.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Scott Jones of Selmer; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Carroll of Adamsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Alexander, Pauline Hardin and Virginia Gooch; five brothers, Glen Boleyn, Curtis Boleyn, J.M. Boleyn, Floyd Boleyn and Clyde Boleyn.
Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Scott Melson officiating. Burial followed in Adamsville Cemetery.
