Donnie Cummings (12-16-18) service 12-27-18

Donnie Cummings, of Savannah, was born on April 30, 1960, in Hardin County, the son of the late James Cecil and Bertha Louise Hodge Cummings.
He was united in marriage to Iva Cummings, who preceded him in death.
Donnie attended Soul’s Harbor Church in Savannah. He was well known around Savannah and had lots of friends. Those who knew Donnie will remember him as a loving, caring and kind-hearted person.
Donnie Cummings departed this life in Savannah on Sunday, Dec. 16, at the age of 58 years, 7 months and 16 days.
He is survived by his brother, Billy Cummings; stepson, Jeff Young; nephews, Billy Dewayne Cummings, Mathaniel Cummings and Johnathon Cummings; niece, Jennifer Cummings; and several cousins and extended family.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Cummings and James Cummings.
Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Linn Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Hollands Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
