Carolyn Bailey Taylor, 74, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Dec. 20.

She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Felix Andrew and Clara Belle Haynes Bailey. She was united in marriage to Frank Taylor, who survives.

Mrs. Taylor had worked at Brown Shoe Company for 10 years as a seamer. She took courses at Crump Vocational School and went to work at ASCS. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, Frank Taylor of Savannah, she is survived by her sons, Hollis Taylor of Savannah and Malcolm Taylor of LaVergne, Tennessee; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Bobbie Robinson of Savannah; and brothers, Larry Bailey of Savannah and Johnnie Bailey of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Taylor; and sisters, Myrtle Dixon and Susan Harris.

Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Hollis Taylor and Malcolm Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
