Billy Cummings (12-20-18) service 12-27-18

Billy Dee Cummings, of Savannah, was born in Hardin County on Aug. 13, 1956, the son of the late James Cecil and Bertha Louise Hodge Cummings.
He departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 20, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 7 days.
Billy attended First Baptist Church. He was a big fan of the University of Tennessee athletics and loved to play bingo and watch wrestling.
He is survived by his son, Billy Dewayne Cummings; nephews, Mathaniel Cummings and Johnathon Cummings; niece, Jennifer Cummings; and several cousins and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Cummings, James Cummings and Donnie Cummings.
Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Linn Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Hollands Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
