Anthony Phillips (12-26-18) service 12-29-18

Anthony Hughes Phillips, 69, of Milledgeville, died on Wednesday, Dec. 26, in Milledgeville.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of Bobbie R. Hughes Phillips and the late Jimmy C. Phillips.

Mr. Phillips worked with Phillips Brick N’ Tile doing masonry work. He was a member of Milledgeville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Angela Delainie LeFler of Milledgeville; a son, Chad Phillips of Milledgeville; mother, Bobbie R. Phillips of Milledgeville; a sister, Tammy Brown of Jackson, Tennessee; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Elainie Davis Phillips.

Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville  with Phil Bridges officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery.
