Patricia Ann Scott Miller was born in Selmer on Sept. 3, 1949, the daughter of the late Ray and Kathryn Barnes Scott.
Patricia was a teacher for Adamsville High School for more than 35 years before retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville, National Education Association and Tennessee Education Association. Patricia loved to read, play tennis and travel, including taking trips with her sisters. Her favorite time was spent being with her grandchildren.
Patricia departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Savannah, at the age of 69 years, 3 months and 9 days.
She is survived by her two children, Brandon Scott Miller of Chattanooga and Veronica Lynn McCasland and her husband Kevin of Savannah; grandchildren, Kolby McCasland, Kenli McCasland, Vivian Miller and Evan Miller; sisters, Theresa Elscott and her husband Bob of Mary Esther, Florida, Phyllis Stewart of Selmer, Pam Trotter and her husband John of Panama City, Florida and Linda Terry of Adamsville.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Scott.
Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Adamsville with Phil Mitchell officiating.
