Robin Collins (11-29-18)

Robin Collins, of Saltillo, was born in Jackson, Tennessee, on Nov. 21, 1934, the son of the late Alvin Robin and Velma Laird Collins.
On Aug. 13, 1960, he was united in marriage to Frances Fonville, who survives.
Robin retired after 20 plus years with Hardin County Highway Department in Savannah.  He enjoyed working on small engines and spending time with family and friends.  In his younger years he loved water skiing, hunting, fishing, roller skating and dirt track racing.
Robin departed this life on Friday, Nov. 29, at the age of 84 years and 8 days.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, Frances, he is survived by his children, Michael Collins and his wife Sheila of Selmer, Sharon Wilbanks and her husband Chris of Pickwick and Melody Davis and her husband Tommy Lynn of Sardis; grandchildren, Anna Wilbanks, Ali Wilbanks, Matthew Davis, Rebecca Coilo, Grant Isbell and Lori Plunk; great-grandchildren, Briley Isbell, Gage Coilo, Sladen Coilo, Asher Coilo and Hannah Isbell; and sister, Betty Sipes of Cedar Grove, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by one son, Alan Wade Collins; and five sisters, Margaret Martin, Marie Terry, Jimmy Arnold, Doris Collins and Reba Davidson.
