Jerry Johnson (12-1-18) service 12-4-18

Jerry Wayne Johnson, 68, of Ramer, died on Saturday, Dec. 1.
He was  born in Waynesboro, the son of the late William Walker and Margaret Jane Bratton Johnson. He was united in marriage to Mackie Franks, who survives.
Mr. Johnson was a farmer.
In addition to his wife, Mackie Johnson of Ramer, he is survived by his sons, Richard Johnson of Adairsville, Georgia, Bobby Johnson of Ramer and Allen Johnson of Waynesboro; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Johnson and Robert Johnson, both of Lutts; and sisters, Janice Balentine of Cypress Inn, Tennessee and Beatrice Porter of Nashville.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson; sisters, Linda Louise White, Mary Walker Martin, Gloria (Magel) Fisher, and Geneva Inglis; and brother, William Johnson.
Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah  with Joe Longcarr officiating. Burial followed in Johnson Family Cemetery at Lutts.
