Frankie Stone (11-27-18)

Frankie Layne Stone, 47, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
He was born in Indiana, the son of the late Alice Henson Dale and Frank Stone. He was united in marriage to Gwen Smith, who survives.
Mr. Stone was a construction worker for ISI for about five years.
In addition to his wife, Gwen Stone of Savannah, he is survived by his sisters, Angela Russell of Navarre, Florida and Melissa Abels of Savannah; his brothers, Michael Stone, Patrick Dale and Jason Dale, all of Savannah; and stepdaughter, Patience Smith of Savannah.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; and his stepfather, Patrick Dale Sr.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m., at Church on the Rock in Savannah with Larry Paul Rich officiating.
