Jane Latimer (11-8-18)

Jane Latimer, 91, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Nov. 8, in Savannah.
She was born in Union City, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Ella Harris Dietzel.
Mrs. Latimer graduated from Memphis Teacher’s College, her original degree was in physical education. She was a teacher for more than 43 years. She taught in Southeast Missouri, Dyersburg, Tennessee and most years at Hardin County. She was a supporter of the Hardin County Library.
She is survived by her son, Bill Latimer of Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Grace Gary; and three brothers, Robert Harris Dietzel, Joe Dietzel and Herman “Dink” Dietzel Jr.
