Tammy Renee Sanders Hurst, 53, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired CNA who worked at various health care facilities in Alcorn County.  She was of Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Brandie Tull of Selmer; a son, Jerry Dale Burnes of Corinth, Mississippi; five grandchildren; brothers, Ray Sanders and Jeff Sanders, both of Corinth, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sons, Steven Daniel “Mancel” Esra and Kerry Vernon Riley Bobo; her father, Ralph Sanders; and mother, Donna Rita Jones Baker.
Visitation is today, Thursday, Nov. 8, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
Service follows at 2 p.m., at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Donnie Waldrop and Gary Porterfield officiating.
