Rebecca Newton (10-20-18) service 10-21-18

Rebecca Kay Newton, 61, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Oct. 20, in Mardin, Tennessee.
She was born in Selmer, the daughter of the late Edward Ray and Mary Sue Ferguson English.
She was a homemaker and previously worked as a counselor and guard for a correctional facility.  She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by two sons, Darrin Floyd of Savannah, Kevin Floyd of Guys, Tennessee; two grandchildren; two sisters, Marcella Huggins Huggins of Ramer, Rose Mary Hodges of Dresden, Tennessee; and a brother, Randy English of Dresden, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger English.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 21, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Milton Huggins officiating. Burial followed in Stantonville Cemetery.
