Authorities ID body found in submerged truck at Saltillo

UPDATE, Oct. 25– Hardin County Sheriff Johnny Alexander said late this afternoon that the body has been positively identified as Danny McCombs, 66, an Enville man who was missing for four months.

Oct. 21— A body and vehicle in the Tennessee River were recovered Saturday afternoon, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office confirms.
The pickup truck with the body was discovered near the Saltillo boat ramp by a search and dive team from Henderson County, joined by the Hardin County Fire Department.
The body was sent to Memphis for identification, Hardin County Sheriff Johnny Alexander said.
