Mary Stanford (10-10-18) service 10-14-18

Mary Imogene Guyon Stanford, 90, of Milledgeville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Savannah.
She was born in Huron, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ben and Annie Bell Young Guyon. She was united in marriage to J.W. Stanford, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stanford had worked for Angelica, and she also had sold Avon products. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Savannah.
She is survived by three daughters, Elaine Wallace of Savannah, Cheryl Parrott of Milledgeville and Donella Phillips of Adamsville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Duford Guyon; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 14, at New Testament Baptist Church in Savannah with Larry Blankenship and Jimmy Wallace officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville.
