Doug Holsing (9-30-18) service 10-6-18

Doug Holsing, 65, of Adamsville, died on Sunday, Sept. 30, in Nashville.
He was born in Faulkton, South Dakota, the son of Ivan Earl Holsing and the late Deloris Marie Wagner Holsing. He was united in marriage to Sherry June Thomas, who survives.
Mr. Holsing was a self-employed truck driver for 20 years, but had been in the trucking business for 45 years. He was an active  member of Love and Truth Church in Adamsville where he served as an usher.
In addition to his wife, Sherry Holsing, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Moore of Medina, Tennessee and Kristina Swift of Jackson, Tennessee; four grandchildren; his father, Ivan Earl Holsing of Rapid City, South Dakota; six sisters, Joetta Koeser of Williston, North Dakota, Peggy Galloway of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Marva Mingledorff of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lauralee Holsing of Rapid City, South Dakota, Linda Joneson of Rapid City, South Dakota and Rosalee Lister of Midland, Maryland; three brothers, Stuart Holsing of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Terry Holsing of Rapid City, South Dakota and Keven Holsing of Seattle, Washington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Love and Truth Church in Adamsville with Scott Melson, Anthony Swift and Steven Moore officiating. Burial followed in Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville.
