Jean Morris (9-21-18)

Jean Pettigrew Morris departed this life on Friday, Sept. 21, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 2 days.
She was born in Shiloh on Nov. 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Eber T. and Vestal Rodgers Pettigrew. On Jan. 23, 1965, she was united in marriage to Billy James Morris, who survives.
Jean was a homemaker and a member of Crump First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Billy James Morris; daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Ganus; grandson, Clay Alan Ganus; brother, Al Pettigrew and his wife Ann, all of Adamsville; sister, Bobbie Mae Patrick of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a son, James Brent Morris; brothers, James E. Pettigrew, Laverne Pettigrew and Jerald Pettigrew; and sisters, Kathryn Heinz, Vonda Ruth Russell and Lou Vise.
