Bobbie Anderson (9-10-18)

Bobbie Seaton Anderson was born in Savannah on Oct. 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Con D. and Louise Allison Seaton. On Dec. 23, 1951, she was united in marriage to Richard “Pete” Anderson. She was a devoted wife to Pete and they were married for 62 years, when he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2014.
Bobbie attended Bethel College and the University of Memphis, where she received her Masters Degree. She was a teacher at Halls, Tennessee, McKenzie, Tennessee, and Hardin County, where she later became a guidance counselor. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bobbie loved doing things for her church and with her church. She was an amazing cook, a servant to her family, friends and her community, and an avid Vols fan.
Bobbie departed this life surrounded by family at her daughters home in Knoxville, where she had been residing for the past year and a half due to failing health, on Monday, Sept. 10, at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 25 days.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Hudson of Knoxville and Fran Shaw and her husband Thad of Woodstock, Georgia; grandchildren, Allison Hudson, Brittany Hudson, Thomas Hudson and his wife Caitlyn, Bryson Shaw and Olivia Shaw; great-grandchildren, Rhys, Kennedy and Judah; brother, David Seaton of Savannah; sister-in-law, Margaret Forshee of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas Hudson Jr.; sisters-in-law, Linda Seaton and Dorothy Bone; and brother-in-law, Tom Anderson.
