Robert Dixon (8-26-18) serivce 9-4-18

Robert Lee Dixon, 75, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Aug. 26.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Harry Lee Armstrong and Annie Higgins Dixon.
Mr. Dixon was a member of Graham Chapel United Methodist Church and had worked for Fred’s Dollar Store, DeBerry Roofing, and as a pipeliner for TVA in Yellow Creek, Mississippi.
He is survived by his daughters, Vikki Dixon of Savannah, Rosette Dixon of Mansfield, Connecticut, and Ebony Cunningham of Savannah; sons, Jerome Dixon of Savannah, Tyrone Ross of Denver, Colorado, and Jeffery Caldwell of California; stepson, Michael Caldwell of Savannah; stepdaughter, LaKisha Caldwell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sisters, Georgia Dixon and Inez Dixon, both of Savannah; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Jr. and R.D. Dixon; and sisters, Maude, Hattie, Ann Laura and Roberta.
Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah in Savannah.
