Dana Terry (8-29-18) service 9-1-18

Dana Terry, of Shiloh, departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the age of 87 years and 23 days.
She was born in Canton, Oklahoma on Aug. 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Morris Alfred and Agnes Marie Prachnau Hukills. On Oct. 16, 1949, she was united in marriage to Melvin Earl Terry, who preceded her in death on May 13, 1999.
Dana moved to Shiloh in 1962 and was a member of West Shiloh Baptist Church. She had worked at Ed Shaw’s Restaurant as a waitress and gift store clerk. She loved to crochet, quilt, and bake sweets for friends and family.
Dana is survived by her children, Barbara Brasher of Stantonville, Tennessee, Melvin Terry Jr. and his wife Marla of Savannah, and David Terry and his wife Rose of Counce; sister, Maxine Miller of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dana was preceded in death by a son, Neill Terry; and sisters, Nancy Scott and Carla Miller.
Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m., at West Shiloh Baptist Church in Stantonville with Greg Brasher officiating. Burial followed in West Shiloh Cemetery at Stantonville.
