Sherry Holland (8-19-18) service 8-22-18

Sherry L. Bivens Holland, 62, of Sardis, died on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Ruie Doarn and Ruby Jewel Powell Bivens. She was united in marriage to Jere Wayne Holland, who survives.
Mrs. Holland was a member of Hinkle Baptist Church. She was self-employed in home cleaning for four years.
In addition to her husband, Jere Wayne, she is survived by her children, Jereme Holland of Reagan, Tennessee and Sandra Holland of Henderson, Tennessee; two sisters, Faye Doster of Sardis and Mary Jo Hughes of Milledgeville; two brothers, Gerald Bivens of Sardis and Thomas Bivens of Savannah; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in deathy by three sisters, Nancy Martin, Peggy Bivens and Maxine Dickson; and two brothers, Bobby Gene Bivens and Jimmy Randolph Bivens.
Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Larry Holley officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville.
