TWRA searching for man missing after boat accident

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officers are investigating a boating accident that occurred on Sunday, Aug. 12 in the Danville, Tennessee area.
According to the TWRA, a 26-foot boat struck an unknown underwater object and ejected three occupants. One occupant is still missing as of Monday morning.
Officers say around 7:30 p.m., a 1992 26-foot Rinker cabin boat was traveling upstream around mile marker 82 on Kentucky Lake when it struck an unknown underwater object. The vessel took a hard left ejecting three occupants. Two occupants swam back to the boat while one other occupant, a 49-year old male from Dickson, Tennessee is still missing. One non-critical injury was reported with the boating accident. None of the occupants were wearing personal flotation devices.
Houston County Rescue Squad along with Dickson County Rescue Squad, Humphries County Rescue Squad, Benton County Rescue Squad, and Montgomery County Rescue Squad are still searching for the missing boater.
