Savannah man indicted on rape charge

A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Savannah Police Department has resulted in the indictment of a Savannah man in connection to the alleged sexual assault of a woman in April.

According to the TBI, at the request of 24th District Attorney General Matthew Stowe, TBI agents began investigating the April 10 incident, which authorities say occurred in the early morning hours at a home on Lake Circle. During the course of the investigation, authorities developed information leading to Adam Grant Arnold, 30.
On July 16, the Hardin County Grand Jury returned an indictment, charging Arnold with one count of rape.
Tuesday, authorities arrested him and booked Arnold into the Hardin County jail on $10,000 bond, the TBI said.
